Sensei Anthony F PajouwBeing fond of martial arts since he was 14 years old by practicing autodidactly, hung out with his friends who invited private teachers or instructors to their homes, or learned from his friends who were already skillful in martial arts. Then he joined Kyokushin Karate in the year of 1998 because of his older brother’s suggestion who already joined in “kala hitam” kyokushin karate organization at that time.
Anthony practiced first time at Dojo Topas (Tomang Plaza), which is now known as Roxy Square after 1998 riot. He then began to teach first time in 1992 at Dojo Abdi Siswa School at Tanjung Duren with its moreorless 100 students at the stage of Kyu 1. It did not take a long time after that for him to start opening many Dojos around the Jakarta regions and he accepts some private students as well.

He obtained his DAN I (Shodan) black belt on August 30th 1999 after had succeeded completing in his examination held in the city of Semarang. After had gone through the hard training and examination he then received his DAN II (Nidan) black belt on July 5th 2000 in Kopeng. His numerous achievements by attending tournaments, national or even international have been improved not only his martial art skill but also his spiritual and mental strength which he is devoting in his trainings in DKI Jakarta regions.  

Being acquainted with Ade Rai, an infamous Indonesian’s pride body builder has been contributing Anthony’s knowledge in forming and combining the strength between physical aspect, especially the muscles and also Kyokushin fighting art aspect, thus more of accomplishments have been obtained by him in many events and tournaments.

This collaboration eventually made Ade Rai attracted to join of promoting Kyokushin Karate in Indonesia, especially in Jakarta the
capital city of Indonesia, by recommending Anthony and his friends to do some Kyokushin demonstration performances in every bodybuilding events, and cooperation with all Ade Rai’s Gym Clubs and also Gold’s Gym Indonesia. Not only that, Ade Rai also began practicing and joining in Kyokushin Karate martial art until he gained his Dan II black belt.

With the strength that never runs out to keep promoting Kyokushin Karate and because of his immense knowledge of Kyokushin, in April
2002 Anthony was chosen to be a reviewer in a national television show, broadcasting K-1 matches, dominated by International Kyokushin
Karate champions. In the same year Anthony was also chosen to be a referee in TPI Fighting show which used Mixed Martial Art tournament system, or commonly known as MMA. His frequent appearances on television and
exhibition events in public add the growth of Kyokushin martial art, especially in Jakarta.

In January 2005 Anthony obtained DAN III (Sandan) black belt after had accomplished the test held ini Kopeng, Central Java.

At the end of 2003 Anthony was practicing in Honbu, Japan for 2 months, and then got back to Indonesia to keep coaching to his
students and shared his experiences what he got from Honbu, Japan.

His unsatisfied feeling of himself to improve fighting skill made him to do 50 Kumites held in Indonesia Kyokushin Karate Central Dojo, in Batu – Malang on April 29th 2007. He finished all of 50 Kumites in 43 minutes with victory points: ippon =19, waza-ari= 10, hikiwake=21 (Hikiwaki is stated of fighter’s victory).
From 6th to 8th of February 2009, Anthony attended international test in order to acquire DAN III (Sandan) international black belt in Fukushima, Japan – along with two other Kyokushinkan members, Senpai Merisa I Mesi and Senpai Andi Gunaripan. He was then verified of succeeding the test through physical, mental, and also technical assessments supervised by Kancho Hatsuo Royama and Honbu team.
